The timbers we use in Sentrel’s products are primarily Spotted Gum and Ironbark, both naturally tough and resilient timbers that are used to make tool handles, boats, spring boards and furniture. They boast a Class 1 rating of 40+ years out of ground durability, are termite resistant, are the highest class of fire-retardant timbers...and, they look great as well!
We have further protected and beautified the timber with a quality Feast Watson decking oil, which offers excellent protection in our harsh Australian conditions.
Sentrel panels are pre-finished at our factory and delivered on-site ready to install. This minimises impact upon the site and reduces installation time, making our products an attractive and affordable choice, and reduces installation time for your builder.
The tension on the vertical cables is established and set in the factory and will stay taut for many years. If and when required, the cables can be easily re-tensioned in a few minutes. See movie.
Our products are guaranteed against structural failure within the tested and approved limits of the Australian Standards for balustrades and pool fencing.
